Podcast Cover Art

This image was taken on the Sony A7R Full-Frame Mirrorless camera. I edited the cover art on Adobe Photoshop. The cover art is for a brand new podcast I am launching on all streaming podcast platforms. I used multiple tools like lighting, glow, puppet warp tool, and other interesting tools to make a cover art that would grab listeners attention.

Double Exposure Project

This was the first double exposure picture animation project. When you play the video the layer behind my picture moves. I created this piece using only photoshop. Double exposure animations take a lot of practice, but they’re really fun.

Superhero Inspired Design

For this project, I wanted to push my editing capabilities. I wanted to use all the tools I learned editing with Photoshop over the years in this project. I used Gaussian blur, tinkered with lighting, and overlay to create this image. It took me months, but I am happy with the end result.

Creative Photoshop Edit

For this project, I wanted to use some tools that I am not too familiar with. I used the puppet warp tool, and some built-in pattern design overlays in photoshop to create this piece. I utilized vignetting to draw the focus on the subject and I used artificial sun rays to add an interesting ambiance. This project took weeks to edit in my free time, but the final product was well worth the time. The image was shot with a Canon EOS 6D SLR camera with the standard EF-S 18-55 mm kit lens.

Magazine Ready Project

This photography project was the aftermath of a fun shooting session. I directed one of my friends to position a DSLR camera in a certain way and this photo was the result. We shot this photo with a Sony Alpha SLT-A77 with a 50mm lens. In photoshop, I color corrected the image to be black and white. We were going for a magazine style shoot and this fit the description. The shoot was amazing and really fun to be a part of.

Career Photography

For this project, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do a professional photo shoot. I directed a friend to position a DSLR (similar to the previous shoot) in a specific way, and this was the result. The image was shot with a Canon EOS 6D SLR camera with the standard EF-S 18-55 mm kit lens. I’d seen a lot of professional photography look bland. Your typical headshot with a generic white background. So, I decided to spice it up and have the beautiful scenery of downtown Norfolk’s waterside district as the background.
